Byron Beachside provides holiday accommodation services for a group of Apartments and Villas in various locations within the Byron Bay area as indicated on the "Location Map".
All properties are considered "family friendly" whereby, group bookings are not accepted without the prior consent of management and a "No Party Policy” applies.
Deposit and Final Payment
Byron Beachside is an Australian business and the prices displayed are in Australian Dollars (AUD) only.
Fifty percent (50%) of the total tariff is required for Deposit and is non-refundable, or the total tariff if the booking is within 30 days of arrival, or as otherwise requested, and is payable at time of booking by Credit Card or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
A valid credit card number is required for security on all bookings made, without exception.
A 2.0% Credit Card transaction fee for Visa, Mastercard, and Amex will be applied to all Credit Card payments, and are non-refundable. EFT transactions do not incur any fees charged by Byron Beachside.
The tariff stated on the final letter of confirmation will be considered the agreed tariff & negate any previous quotes. For the dispute of any considered inaccuracies, a cooling-off period of five business days will apply from the date the confirmation letter is emailed.
Final balance is required one (1) day prior to arrival, and may be deducted from the credit card supplied unless received by EFT, or otherwise arranged with management. Any balances outstanding 48 hours prior to departure may be deducted from the credit card supplied.
Cardholder Account Data
Credit Card Tokens provide secure payment processing via our online booking platform RMS using a Payment Gateway.
CC Tokens can be created on a Guest Profile, Company or Travel Agent for secure payment processing in RMS.
Credit Card Tokens remain on the Guest Profile until removed by a user.
Cancellations and Refunds
All Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise determined by Byron Beachside management. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival or if not cancelled, the full tariff may be charged to the credit card supplied.
Cancellation of bookings determined as "Peak Seasons", "School Holidays" or "Festivals" may be charged at the full confirmed tariff if cancelled within 90 days of arrival, these bookings are non-transferable without prior agreement with management.
Early Departure
No refunds will be given on Early Departure, and any outstanding balance will be deducted from the credit card provided.
Check-in, Check-out
Check in is after 2pm (1400 hrs)
Check out is strictly 10am (1000 hrs) Late check-outs may be charged at an additional nights accommodation.
Keys
Keys &/or electronic "beepers" that are not returned will be charged to the credit card supplied, at $40.00 each key & $100.00 each beeper.
Behaviour & Additional Charges
Management reserves the right to evict any person/s from the premises immediately and without notice, for any disturbances or unruly behaviour causing disruption to other guests. Costs may be charged to the credit card provided, at the nightly rate for each nights disturbance caused. These conditions are in conjunction with the conditions stated in the guest registration card at time of check-in or on acceptance of keys, and as deemed necessary by the manager.
Management also reserves the right to charge guest for the following, but not restricted to, all damages and breakages, lost keys, missing items, late departure, extra cleaning, and unpaid expenses. Any additional charges will automatically be charged to the credit card provided on booking.
Only the designated person/s at the time of check-in, are permitted to stay in the apartment/s, any additions to this may be charged the average nightly rate for the duration of the booking, and all occupants may be required to leave the premises.
Changes & Interpretation
Management are not responsible for any interpretation or misunderstanding about the property booked and our cancellation policy will apply. Terms & Conditions are subject to change without notification. While individual properties can be booked and all efforts made by management to maintain the booking for the property, management do not guarantee the allocation of any specific property as circumstances can change: Example: a property can be sold or made no longer available for letting at that time.
Cleaning
Apartments must be left in a relatively clean & tidy condition on departure, to avoid additional cleaning charges. Any charges will be applied per hour (whole hours) at managements current standard rate. If the apartment is deemed "un-rentable" for any fair reason a standard nights accommodation may be charged to the credit card provided.
Smoking
All apartments are non-smoking inside, ashtrays are provided for outside use only. Any traces of residual smoke inside, or reminisce of butts outside will incur an additional cleaning charge of $200, and any additional costs of cleaning soft furnishings may be added as deemed necessary by management.
Pets
Although much loved, pets are not permitted within any apartment or complex.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of individuals and are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth) (the "Act"). We will only collect, use or disclose personal information in accordance with the Act and this Privacy Policy.

We also collect information from third parties, such as credit information which we use to prevent and detect fraud, information from your mobile provider if you are accessing the website over a mobile device or information from a third party such as a social media or travel opinions site where you have asked us to share your data with them.
